Job summary

BMW Group in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a System Integration Interior Intern for Spring 2027. The intern will support geometrical, functional, and buildability validation of current and future BMW vehicles, gaining hands-on experience.

You'll learn about target setting, product validation processes, and how defect analysis improves quality. Responsibilities include supporting RCA, performing analyses, and assisting in launching new Plant Spartanburg vehicles while developing knowledge in vehicle

Qualifications

Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited four-year college in the United States.
Completed at least 30 credit hours prior to application.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript.
Must be able to work full-time on-site (40 hours per week).
Must be a current student during all rotation periods.
Must be eligible for a substance abuse test before the work term.
Work term dates: January 11 – May 14, 2027.

Responsibilities

Support geometrical, functional, and buildability validation of BMW vehicles.
Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and solution development.
Independently complete analysis and quantitative/subjective evaluations.
Assist in launching Plant Spartanburg vehicles and optimizing integration processes.
Gain in-depth knowledge and experience in new vehicle development and validation.
