Interior Sign Install Pro - Precision & Finish

OnSight, Inc.; Gambrills (MD); On-site; USD 42,000 - 64,000; Full time

Job summary

OnSight Industries is seeking an Interior Install professional to precisely install interior signage, vinyl graphics, and related products within model homes and sales environments. The role emphasizes accuracy, measuring, and clean finished installations, with occasional exterior/field work when interior demand is low.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in related work, are comfortable with hand tools and laminators, and can document installs accurately. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience; vinyl, wallcovering, sign, or finish‑carpentry background is a plus but not required.
• Completion of the OnSight pre‑hire skills assessment
• Comfortable with hand tools, laminators, adhesives, and precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail — you notice when something is 1/8″ off
• Able to work cleanly and respectfully inside finished, occupied buildings
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and progress
• Valid driver’s license; becomes eligible to operate a company vehicle upon promotion

Responsibilities

• Install interior vinyl wall graphics, dimensional letters, and wayfinding/ADA signage in finished, occupied spaces
• Apply wallcovering, laminate graphics, and printed interior décor pieces to walls, doors, and mounted panels
• Measure, level, and align every install to a tight tolerance, protecting finished flooring, paint, and trim throughout the job
• Read and follow proof sheets, layout diagrams, and design specs for each installation
• Prep surfaces (cleaning, priming, patching as needed) so graphics adhere correctly and last
• Capture quality closeout photos and job documentation in the mobile field system for every completed install
• Coordinate scheduling and site access with builders, GCs, and on‑site staff so installs don’t disrupt an active sales environment
• Maintain and account for company tools and materials issued for interior work
• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper PPE use, even though this work is primarily indoors
• Support field and exterior installation projects, including concrete and structural work, during periods when interior project volume is lower
