Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an interior/product designer for Dearborn studios, working on advanced and production interior projects. Develop conceptual and production interior solutions via sketch, rendering and 3D models.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in industrial/ Transportation design, 1+ years of design experience, and a portfolio. Hybrid onsite work with strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration are valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial design, Transportation Design, or similar field.
1+ years design experience; including final design product execution.
1+ years of experience translating 2D to 3D with strong proportions and form.
A design portfolio (pdf) must be provided upon application.

Responsibilities

Think creatively, strategically, and analytically.
Create compelling and innovative interior design experiences for design projects.
Explore human-centered design with emphasis in interior design holistic experience.
Coordinate the work of other design personnel to achieve holistic design visions.
Create future brand-focused design visions.

Solve problems around connectivity, mobility, and consumer segments.
