Job summary

Carter Custom Millwork is seeking an assembly-focused team member to prepare materials and operate equipment for interior door production. You will verify orders, prepare components, and set up tools and machines to complete assemblies on schedule.

The role emphasizes working safely with power and hand tools, bending to production pace, and contributing to a growing, family-oriented manufacturing environment in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not necessary.
• Experience in the use of a variety of tools is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• General carpentry skills are preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to do repetitious work at a fast pace while standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, review each work order and ensure materials are available.
• Set up the necessary equipment and material to assemble interior doors according to the order.
• Include cutting components accurately, hinge/lockset prep, and fastenings jambs, stops, and casings.

Description

Under minimal supervision, you will review each work order and ensure proper materials are available. You will then set up the necessary equipment and material to assemble interior doors according to the order. This includes cutting components accurately, hinge/lockset prep, and fastenings jambs, stops, and casings. Various assembly equipment is used as well as power, air, and hand tools. The goal is to complete orders accurately and according to the schedule.

Requirements
