Job summary

Gary Lee Partners in Chicago seeks a talented interior designer to join a fast-paced, collaborative project team. You will support all project life-cycle stages, from programming and space planning through construction administration, reporting to project leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of interior design experience, proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of interior design experience in a studio or architecture firm.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Fit plans.
• Generate SD and DD documents and prepare materials for review.
• Furniture research and selection.
• Coordinate FF+E resources, procurement and installation processes.
• Prepare Scope, Bid and Construction Documents; insert data and markups with accuracy.
• Review shop drawings and submittals during construction administration.
• Provide site observation and document construction and furniture punchlists.
• Participate in client/meeting minutes and vendor meetings; build client relationships.
