Perkins&Will San Francisco is seeking an Interior Designer II with 3-5+ years of experience to contribute to our workspace and interiors projects globally. You will work on contract documents, space planning, and presentation materials, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver design excellence within schedule and budget.

The role emphasizes integration with architectural processes, sustainability considerations, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of interior design experience.
• LEED GA within 6 months of hire (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in interiors, architecture or related discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Use enhanced knowledge of project complexity to contribute to team success while adhering to firm and project goals.
• Integrate interior design concepts with architectural design processes.
• Prepare contract documents (floor plans, details, ceiling plans, millwork, furniture layouts, finish plans, specs, schedules).
• Create presentation materials and models for client presentations.
• Develop graphic communication skills to illustrate design concepts.
• Research manufacturers and select colors, finishes, materials, lighting, and furniture.
• Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
• Coordinate with partners and consultants.
