Job summary

BHDP Architecture in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Interior Designer II to support design teams through exploration of furniture, finishes, and equipment, with increased responsibility for technical accuracy, coordination, and independent delivery of interior deliverables. Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor of Interior Design, NCIDQ certification, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit (2D/3D).

Experience with Enscape, Lumion, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Interior Design degree; CIDA accredited preferred.
6+ years in design/architecture industry.
NCIDQ certification.
Revit proficiency with 2D/3D delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver multiple projects with furniture, finishes, and equipment details on time.
Coordinate across project team and apply QA+QC to ensure accuracy.
Break scope into clear tasks with due dates and defined completion criteria.
Mentor teammates and promote design standards across the team.
Identify coordination, constructability, and life-safety issues early; propose viable updates.
Escalate high-risk items and document key decisions for lessons learned.
Maintain rolling look-ahead and keep deliverables milestone-ready.
