EwingCole is seeking an ambitious Interior Designer I for our Philadelphia office to support interior design efforts on projects. You will assist the lead designer with developing concepts, researching finish materials, and coordinating drawings with other disciplines to meet design concepts and client expectations.

The role involves creating presentation materials, 3D renderings, and contributing to design reviews and construction documents. A portfolio PDF is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture as listed in requirements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, SketchUp and Rhino.
• Excellent conceptual skills and understanding of interior architecture.
• Understanding of color theory and its practical application.
• Understanding of interior architectural detailing.
• Understanding of finish materials and their application.

Responsabilités

• Schematic Design and Design Development.
• Work with lead interior designer to create interior environments that meet client goals and aesthetics.
• Develop code compliant designs.
• Assist with selection of finish materials and furnishings.
• Develop presentation materials including 3D renderings.
• Observe and participate in client presentations and internal design reviews.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines.
• Prepare construction documents and assist in development of project specifications.
• Assist with submittal responses, shop drawing review and site visits.
• Assist with interiors and furniture punch lists.
• Assist marketing with design documents and presentation materials.
