Job summary

WRNS Studio in New York City is seeking an Interior Designer with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The role focuses on designing and documenting high-performance interiors across project phases, collaborating with the design team and vendors to realize projects on-site.

You will develop space plans, FF&E concepts, and detailing, lead with curiosity, mentor junior designers, and contribute to sustainability goals, with opportunities for professional development and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10+ years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Experience in medium to large-scale projects
• Preferred candidate will have a strong background in workplace interiors and planning
• Expertise in Revit and proficiency in 3D rendering tools such as Enscape, Lumion, or Rhino
• Strong space planning skills and knowledge of systems, furniture, interior finishes and workplace standards
• Demonstrated progressive responsibility in all phases of interior architecture projects
• Leads with curiosity and is a creative problem solver with excellent communication, collaboration, planning and presentation skills
• Familiarity with sustainable design frameworks, such as LEED, WELL, and Fitwel
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam

Interior Designer | New York City

Salary

At the time of posting, the salary range for this position is between $85,000 – $110,000 for candidates with 5-10 years of industry experience, $105,000 – $140,000 for candidates with 10-20 years of industry experience, and $135,000 – 165,000 for candidates with 20+ years of industry experience. Our final compensation decisions include a candidate’s experience as well as qualifications, background and education.
