A leading national design firm is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join its Los Angeles team, working on sophisticated commercial workplace projects for high-profile clients.

This opportunity is ideal for a well-rounded designer with 7-12+ years of experience who can balance strong design sensibility with technical execution and project leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, work directly with clients, and mentor junior team members while continuing to grow into a larger leadership role.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in workplace projects through design development, documentation, and installation
• Develop thoughtful space plans, design concepts, finish palettes, and material selections
• Produce and oversee detailed documentation
• Support FF&E and material selection throughout the design process
• Review drawings for design intent, technical accuracy, and constructability
• Manage portions of project schedules, deliverables, and team workflow
• Present design concepts and solutions directly to clients
• Mentor junior designers and provide day-to-day design and technical guidance

What We’re Looking For:

• 7-12+ years of interior design experience with several completed projects within the commercial workplace project sector
• Strong workplace interiors experience preferred
• Strong Revit skills are a plus
• Portfolio demonstrating design, space planning, and technical capabilities
• Solid understanding of construction documents, detailing, and constructability
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants
• Comfortable communicating and presenting directly to clients
• Previous experience guiding or mentoring junior team members
• Strong organizational and project management skills
