La-Z-Boy Southeast is seeking a motivated Interior Designer in Lexington, SC to lead presentations and develop client-focused solutions. You will collaborate with Sales Consultants in clients' homes and update gallery displays with merchandising teams.

Build relationships with repeat customers and guide in-store design projects end-to-end. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Interior Design or related degree, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint skills are

• Work in store with sales staff to identify design clients.
• Create custom room plans for clients.
• Present your design proposal to clients in the store.
• Visit clients' homes to measure the space and gather information.
• Attend qualifying design deliveries.
• Lead design training for store staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attend consultations with Sales Consultants in customer’s home

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE: Bachelor’s in Interior Design or related design degree
• Communication and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint) experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see well enough to read printed materials, computer screens, and across the gallery
• Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with other employees
• Must be able to sit, stand, and move around the gallery and occasionally walk briskly
• Must be able to kneel to pick up items from the ground
• Must be able to move furniture lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to type and hold a tablet
