Katalyst CRO is seeking a Door Trim Design Release Engineer (DRE) with at least 3 years of automotive interior experience to lead design release activities and resolve production issues.

You will investigate warranty cases, drive root-cause analysis, and collaborate with styling for feasibility studies and A-class surface evaluation, applying CATIA V6 for component design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline is required.
• Alternative: an engineering diploma with 10+ years of experience in automotive door trim components and subsystems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Door Trim Design Release Engineer (DRE).
• Strong knowledge of automotive door trim manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead design release tasks for door trim components in automotive interior engineering.
• Resolve manufacturing plant issues and address product defects.
• Investigate warranty issues, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with styling team on feasibility studies, A-class surface evaluation, and craftsmanship targets.
• Design automotive component parts using CATIA V6 and ensure manufacturability.
