Job summary

Interior Talent is seeking an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to lead complex commercial interiors from concept through construction in Austin. You will manage client relationships, coordinate design teams, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in architectural or interior design project management, strong knowledge of codes, and proficiency with project management tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design (CIDA- or NCARB-accredited preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural or interior design project management.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and interior construction practices.
  • Experience overseeing commercial interior projects from concept through construction.
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Microsoft Project, CRM systems such as MS Dynamics, or similar tools).
  • Experience managing project financials, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Sustainable design knowledge; LEED or WELL accreditation is desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and research-driven mindset.
  • Registered Interior Designer or actively pursuing registration is a plus.
