Job summary

Randolph Interior Design is seeking an Interior Design Intern for 2–3 days per week in Long Lake, MN. This in-person internship targets a final-year interior design student aiming for a career in high-end residential design.

Initial duties include organizing the sample library, assisting with client meeting prep and proposals, photoshoot prep, calendar coordination, and office organization. You’ll progressively take on broader responsibilities across the studio’s operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an interior design program with at least one year completed.
• Excellent communication with homeowners, builders, vendors.
• Able to work 2–3 days a week and in-person.
• Proactive and eager to learn.

Interior Design Intern (Part-Time, In-Person) – Long Lake, MN

Randolph Interior Design is looking for an Interior Design Intern to join us 2–3 days a week, scheduled around your classes. This role is ideal for a student majoring in interior design in their final year who wants a career in high-end residential design. Two of our current full-time designers started here as interns.

What you’ll do

You’ll start with the day-to-day work that keeps a design studio running: sample library organization and returns, assist with client meetings prep and proposals, photoshoot prep, calendar coordination, office organization, technical project drawings and project coordination. As you grow, your responsibilities will grow too. You’ll see every part of our residential design business and learn our full operations process from start to finish.

What we’re looking for

• Currently enrolled in an interior design program, with at least one year completed (final-year students preferred)
• Enjoys working with people
• Eager to learn and open to coaching
• Takes initiative without waiting to be told
• Think quickly and stays calm in a fast-paced environment
• Communicates clearly and confidently with homeowners, builders, subcontractors, and vendors
• Proficient in Sketchup, Revit or similar
