Job summary

RH in Pittsburgh's Shadyside Gallery seeks an Interior Design Assistant to support the interior design team across the project lifecycle, from consultations and site visits to design development, presentations and delivery.

You will create brand-appropriate presentations, contribute product expertise, maintain visual standards, and help deliver a luxury client experience while representing RH's lifestyle with polished communication and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred.
• Experience in design firm or luxury retail preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS, MS Office and Google Apps; AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally or out of state; lift/mobilize items up to 25 lbs.

Summary

RH is seeking an Interior Design Assistant to support the Interior Design team at the Pittsburgh Shadyside Gallery. The role assists across the project lifecycle—consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery—while delivering a luxury client experience. The Assistant produces brand-appropriate presentations, provides product expertise, and helps maintain visual and quality standards in the gallery.

• Produce brand-appropriate presentations communicating design concepts, space planning and product selections

• Support visual and quality standards within the Gallery

Requirements

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred
• Experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Proficiency with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications; AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Strong artistic skills including hand rendering and sketching preferred
• Highly organized, collaborative, results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication
• Licensed to drive preferred; ability to travel locally or out of state and lift/mobilize items up to 25 lbs
