Job summary

RH Interior Design is seeking a Design Assistant to support luxury residential projects. You will collaborate with designers, coordinate presentations, and help curate spaces with a refined eye for taste and detail.

Ideal candidates have education in Art/Architecture/Interior Design, experience in design firms or luxury retail, and strong skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. Proactive, organized, and excellent communicators thrive in our fast-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

• Art, Architecture or Interior Design education preferred.
• Experience in a design firm or luxury retail preferred.
• Hands-on interior installation experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and other space planning/rendering tools preferred.
• Strong artistic skills with hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide luxury experience for clients through RH Interior Design services.
• Qualify and educate potential design clientele on services offered by RH Interior Design.
• Support all phases of the design process: consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery.
• Produce brand-appropriate presentations; communicate design concepts, space planning and product selections.
• Provide product expertise and elevated client service.
• Represent the RH lifestyle brand with polished communication and professionalism.
• Maintain strong interest in luxury design industry.
• Support the visual and quality standards within the Gallery.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed to drive preferred

• Ability to maneuver effectively around Gallery floor, stock room, and office
• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
