Salary: Starting at $80,000 (based on experience)

We’re seeking a talented and driven Senior Interior Architectural Designer with a passion for creating inspiring workplace environments and a deep understanding of corporate/commercial interiors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional design solutions from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of corporate and commercial interior design projects, from concept development through construction completion.
• Oversee project documentation and coordination, ensuring design integrity, technical accuracy, and compliance with NYC and national building codes.
• Manage client relationships, consultant teams, and contractor collaboration to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight to design staff throughout the design and documentation process.
• Contribute to firm‑wide standards, design excellence, and continuous improvement through innovation and best practices in workplace design.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate and commercial interior design.
• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• Strong understanding of NYC and National DOB codes, compliance requirements, and filing strategies.
• Expertise in base building infrastructure, landlord coordination, and consultant collaboration throughout the design and shop drawing phases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
• Highly detail‑oriented, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and team members.
