Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) in Newark, NJ is seeking an Interim Business Consultant for the Global Tuberculosis Institute to develop, implement, and evaluate TB education programs for health professionals at Rutgers NJMS.

The role focuses on planning TB education for physicians, nurses, and allied staff, conducting needs assessments, and coordinating pilot tests of educational products. This on-site, part-time position supports a 12-month term with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree with three years of experience in adult or continuing education for health professionals or the equivalent.
• Applicants with a Master’s Degree are required to have two additional years of related experience.
• Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates TB education programs and products.
• Plans TB education for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Conducts needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and training formats.
• Maintains relationships with agencies and stakeholders involved in courses and projects.
• Coordinates pilot testing of draft educational products.
