Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking an Interim Oracle Security Consultant to partner with our client’s team on a focused, short-term engagement. You will assess, redesign, and optimize Oracle security structures, while delivering executive-ready guidance throughout the engagement.

The role requires hands-on configuration, SoD risk assessment, and collaboration with IT and business leaders to implement practical security improvements quickly.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Oracle Security Administration and Configuration.
• Strong experience designing and managing role-based access control models within Oracle environments.
• Proven experience creating and troubleshooting user-level security matrices and access structures.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle security setup, provisioning, roles, and privilege management.
• Understanding of SoD, audit controls, and governance principles.
• Experience conducting security assessments and remediation planning.
• Ability to operate independently and communicate with executives.

Responsibilities

• Assess and remediate issues related to Oracle security architecture and access controls.
• Review, redesign, and optimize the organization’s user-level security matrix and RBAC framework.
• Evaluate current Oracle security setup, configurations, and governance practices.
• Configure and maintain security roles, responsibilities, privileges, and access controls.
• Identify SoD risks, excessive access, and compliance concerns.
• Develop recommendations for security enhancements and governance improvements.
• Partner with business and IT leadership to understand security requirements and impacts.
• Document security design decisions, role mappings, and access management processes.
• Provide executive-ready updates and presentations to leadership.
• Act as the primary Oracle security SME with best-practice guidance.
