Job summary

Korn Ferry partners with a private equity-backed manufacturer in Texas to elevate FP&A, cost accounting, and performance analysis. The interim FP&A Lead works with finance, operations, and leadership to improve reporting, profitability insights, and decision support.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing FP&A expertise, deep cost accounting knowledge, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations while collaborating across departments onsite in Northeast Texas/Brookston.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing FP&A experience is mandatory.
• Deep cost accounting, standard costing, margin analysis, and KPIs knowledge.
• Experience linking P&L to operational drivers.
• Strong analytical and business-partnering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen FP&A function with consistency and analytical rigor.
• Analyze P&L, account trends, operational metrics, and KPIs.
• Evaluate standard-cost trends, cost drivers and margin performance.
• Partner with leadership to improve visibility into financial performance and risks.
• Develop and enhance management reporting for executives and PE stakeholders.
• Leverage data to identify patterns and actionable business actions.
• Connect financial results with manufacturing activity and decisions.
• Establish repeatable reporting practices for ongoing use.
