Job summary

AMN Healthcare Leadership Solutions | B.E. Smith in Hampton, Virginia seeks an Interim Supervisor, Case Management to lead an inpatient case management department. You will report to the Regional Director and oversee about 15 direct reports, ensuring efficient operations and staff development.

The ideal candidate has strong inpatient case management leadership experience, knowledge of social determinants of health, and excellent communication. Start within 2–3 weeks is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required and active Virginia RN license or compact state RN license.
• Case management certification such as CCM or ACM required.
• Proven leadership experience in inpatient case management with diverse patient populations.
• Experience overseeing a team of about 15 direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for an inpatient case management department.
• Oversee approximately 15 direct reports and conduct staff coaching.
• Facilitate efficient daily operations, payroll, and scheduling accuracy.
• Hold one-on-one meetings, staff rounding, and regulatory survey readiness.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and departmental improvement initiatives.
