Job summary

Blue Ops Partners, part of Xerxes Global, seeks an experienced in-seat CFO to lead client finance and accounting functions across portfolio companies. You will shape financial strategy, ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and partner with client executives to enable growth and value creation.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, audits, cash management, and developing scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Big 4 or public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Hands-on leadership of finance and accounting functions.
• Strong cash flow management and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems familiarity.
• Experience in private equity or multi-entity environments valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead clients’ finance and accounting functions, aligning strategy with value creation initiatives.
• Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger management, close processes, reconciliations, and financial statement prep.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and standardized procedures.
• Oversee cash management, treasury, working capital, and cash flow forecasting.
• Coordinate annual audits with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
• Drive process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy, and reduce close cycles.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Provide strategic financial insights to improve business performance and guide growth.
• Mentor and develop finance and accounting teams.
• Partner with private equity sponsors and portfolio leadership.
