Job summary

Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, MA seeks a dedicated School Counselor to support grades 9–12. You will develop counseling programs, coordinate assemblies, and assist with college planning steps and applications.

You’ll work closely with faculty to identify student needs, manage Scoir for caseloads, and maintain records while pursuing ongoing professional growth and alignment with school mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with related experience or pursuing a Master’s in school counseling.
• Excellent communication with students, families, and staff.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in duties.
• Eligibility to work in the United States (citizenship/residency/visa).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement school counseling programs and assemblies.
• Consult with faculty to assess student needs and abilities.
• Oversee Scoir management for assigned students.
• Assist and manage school day standardized testing.
• Prepare letters of recommendation for seniors’ college apps.
• Maintain student records and progress files.
• Pursue professional growth via workshops or courses.
• Support school policies and mission as directed.
