Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living in California seeks a dedicated Interim Cook for a Full Scratch Kitchen. This temporary, full-time position runs Thursday to Monday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with open availability required.

Join a team delivering exceptional, seasonal cuisine to residents and guests. Requirements include 2–5 years on a fast-paced line, ability to execute flawless dishes, and strong communication. Candidates must pass background checks and health screenings per policy.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant.
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station.
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00

What we request:

• Line cook experience in a "Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant"
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
