Overview

The Clinical Team Lead provides outpatient services for persons with a substance use disorder, and supports implementation of efficient and effective treatment frameworks among the Clinical team. They will support complex communication necessary to navigate integration and implementation of best practices among the Clinical team to ensure shared vision, modalities, and framework among the certified and licensed providers in the department. This will include alignment and fidelity to motivational interviewing philosophical frameworks to ensure the client is at the center of their own care, and minimize rigidity of treatment services which can negatively impact client engagement.

Responsibilities

Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to facilitate a variety of evidence-based substance abuse treatment modalities such as motivational interviewing, rational emotive therapy, cognitive therapy, narrative therapy, trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, etc.. Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities at various organizational levels. Ability to integrate best practices and support other members of the Clinical Team in that implementation to maximize consistency of treatment frameworks across the clinical team. Commitment to remaining engaged with exploring emerging treatment skills and frameworks.

Essential Functions
  • Provide professional counseling services to patients and their families through individual and/or group settings.
  • Conduct lectures and participate in community outreach activities. Identify concerns and make referrals to other specialists when needed
  • Documents assessment, care provided, treatment plans and data collection appropriately in the Addiction Recovery patient record and other relative locations.
  • Provides educational support to the clinical program staff.
  • Participates in marketing activities of Addiction Recovery to the hospital, clinic, other health professionals and the general community.
  • Providers leadership to support efficient and effective multidisciplinary service provision in the Department.
  • Acts as a role model to Clinical team members and supports leadership initiatives for department implementation of evolving best practice (emerging research and treatment skills and frameworks)
  • Assists leadership with orientation and training of new and existing Clinical team members

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $30.72per hour - $52.84per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
