Job summary

The Confidential client seeks an Interim Assistant Chief Medical Officer to provide physician leadership for clinical initiatives focused on quality, patient safety, physician and patient satisfaction, and improved care coordination.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Interim ACMO will partner with medical, nursing, and administrative leaders to advance clinical integration and strengthen patient outcomes, including efforts to reduce length of stay and mitigate hospital-acquired

Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance
• Experience providing physician leadership in quality, patient safety and care coordination
• Experience in medical executive governance, credentialing and policy development

Responsibilities

• Provide medical administrative leadership through participation in medical executive functions and credentialing activities
• Lead policy development, clinical protocols, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Oversee patient care audits and process improvement initiatives across the organization
• Engage physician leaders in patient experience and performance improvement, fostering collaboration and accountability
