Job summary

Commonwealth Of Pennsylvania seeks a Chaplain to provide spiritual guidance within SCI Cambridge Springs. You will support inmates across faith traditions, plan services, and oversee religious programs in a secure setting.

You will lead interfaith activities, coordinate volunteers, and document program outcomes while ensuring compliance with training and background requirements. This role requires evening and weekend hours within a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Two years of pastoral experience with a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination including one year of pastoral experience.
• Must complete the Correctional Chaplains Training Course within six months of hire.
• Background check and CJIS compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead religious services for inmates and accommodate other faiths.
• Provide spiritual and grief counseling to inmates in general population, specialized units, and hospitals.
• Facilitate interfaith programs and discussions within the facility.
• Coordinate volunteers, visitors, and interns for Religious Services Department.
• Document program activities and prepare required reports.
• Support staff in maintaining compliance and program records.
