The UCLA Department of Neurobiology invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track/tenured faculty position. Ideal candidates pursue interdisciplinary approaches across genetics, molecular neuroscience, systems, computation, behavior, and cognition.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. in a neuroscience-related field.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or M.D. in a neuroscience-related field.
  • Preference for early-career candidates at the Assistant Professor level; exceptional candidates at Associate/Full Professor level will be considered.
  • Evaluation emphasizes research accomplishments and creativity, teaching excellence, professional contributions, and service to the academic community.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active and innovative research program.
  • Contribute to mentoring and training activities at UCLA.
  • Teach and provide service consistent with other tenure-track/tenured faculty members in the DGSOM.
