About the Position: Serves as the Project Engineer and Authorized Representative of the Contracting Officer, responsible for construction quality assurance and contract administration activities to assigned construction projects.

Requirements & Education

Time in Grade Requirement for GS-07: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). Time in Grade Requirement for GS-09: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Time in Grade Requirement for GS-11: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09). The full performance level (GS-12 equivalent) of the position covered by this vacancy announcement has transitioned to Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) career path NH broadband level 3.

Therefore, the Time in Grade Restriction does not apply at this level. The full performance level (GS-12 equivalent) of the position covered by this vacancy announcement has transitioned to Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) career path NH broadband level 3. Pay range includes ($91,779-$141,880). If a selection is made at the full performance (GS-12 equivalent) level, the position will be offered as AcqDemo NH-03.

If a selection is made at the career ladder GS-11 or lower, the position will remain in the General Schedule until full performance level is reached. The selectee will be notified of pay plan, level and pay in job offer.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
