Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Multifamily Interconnection Analyst in California to manage utility interconnections from submission to Permission To Operate. The role requires coordinating with Design, Engineering, and Operations to ensure timely approvals and addressing utility comments efficiently.

The candidate should have at least 3 years in renewables, knowledge of NEC/CBC/AHJ requirements, and strong communication skills. Compensation is market-aligned for the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in renewable energy.
• Knowledge of interconnection processes and experience working with utilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit utility interconnection applications and manage the relationship with the utility throughout the application review process through PTO.
• Review plansets for accuracy and completeness and work with Design and Engineering to resolve discrepancies.
• Resolve utility comments independently and delegate remaining comments to Operations, Engineering, and Sales as needed.
• Own interconnection pipeline for assigned projects from initial application submission through PTO.
• Utilize software systems to record progress of tasks and maintain project schedules.
• Obtain customer signatures as required, prepare project documentation, and organize documentation.
• Collaborate with other internal groups to move interconnection pipeline forward.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely response to program requirements and corrections.
