• Familiarity with design systems and component-level thinking.
• Comfort collaborating closely with engineers and designing for technical users.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design the review experience where engineers accept, reject, or revise agent-proposed code changes.
• Run research with engineers and QA leads to learn how trust in automation is built and lost.
• Design how evidence, reproduction steps, and validation results are presented so review decisions are fast and informed.
• Turn research findings into flows, wireframes, and interaction specs engineering can build from.
• Prototype and test interaction patterns for agent status, uncertainty, and failure states.
• Extend the design system with components and patterns for reviewing machine-generated work.
• Partner with product and engineering from problem framing through shipped experience.
• Use AI tools daily to compress the loop from research question to testable prototype.

Interaction Designer

San Francisco, CA – Full-time – Mid-level – On-site

Zof AI is hiring for this role in San Francisco, CA. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates who want to contribute directly to the development of ambitious AI products in a high-performance environment.

Daily use of AI tools for research synthesis, prototyping, and design iteration is required.
