Highlands Behavioral Health System is seeking a licensed therapist to provide outpatient social work services and group psychotherapy in Littleton, CO. The role includes psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Inpatients and outpatients with co-occurring disorders may be treated; licensure as LCSW or LPC is required and prior psychiatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or related field required.
• Experience with psychiatric mental health populations preferred.
• Licensure as LCSW or LPC required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services in outpatient settings following program schedule.
• Deliver group psychotherapy and psychoeducation sessions.
• Perform psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Assist with discharge planning and case management services.
• Provide crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adults and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

The Therapist provides clinical social work services in the outpatient setting in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Highlands Behavioral Health. The Therapist provides group psychotherapy and psychoeducation according to the Outpatient Program schedule. The Therapist will also be responsible for psychosocial assessments, participation in treatment team planning, discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education - Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field is required.

Experience - Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient group setting. Experience working with co-occuring mental health and substance use disorders required.

Licensure - LCSW or LPC required
