Position: Intensive Needs Teacher Aide – West Blvd Elementary School (Full‑time). Location: Boardman, Ohio.

Job Description

Assist classroom teachers in supporting students with intensive educational and behavioral needs. Work in cross‑categorical and behavior support rooms, providing individualized instruction and behavior interventions under the guidance of the lead teacher.

Requirements & Conditions

• Educational prerequisites: Minimum of 48 semester hours of college coursework documented by transcripts, an associate degree, or proof of passing the HQ paraprofessional assessment.
• Training: Willingness to acquire Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training.
• Training: Willingness to become Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) trained.
• Certification: Willingness to obtain an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $19,113 – $21,234, based on 7 hours per day.

Additional Supplement: $6,000.00 for Intensive Needs Aide positions in cross‑categorical rooms and behavior support rooms.
