The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking Intensive Instructional Assistants (IIAs). The candidates must be energetic and loves working with children. The IIA position's purpose is to develop and interpret individual needs of our youngest students in the early childhood classrooms or supporting students with special needs by helping to create and implement behavior and/or instructional support programs with consultation with the grade level special educator and classroom teacher. Candidates must successfully complete the ParaPro assessment or have an associates or higher degree. The IIA provides observable student data that meet the IEP Program goals of students with developmental delay and/or other special needs. Position will target goal-directed services to assist students in accessing instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional and independent manner. Background check, including fingerprinting required upon employment. The pay range for this position is currently $19.95/hr.-$25.80/hr.
