Job summary

Nursefinders Staffing Division seeks experienced ICU Registered Nurses for per diem assignments in Washington. Roles involve caring for critically ill patients in high-acuity ICUs with 12-hour day or night shifts, collaborating with intensivists and ancillary staff, and providing family-centered care.

The position requires active RN license in WA, at least 1 year of ICU/CCU experience, and current BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU or critical care RN experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Experience managing ventilators, vasoactive drips, and high-acuity patients.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform continuous patient assessments and closely monitor hemodynamic status
• Administer medications, titratable drips, blood products, and advanced therapies
• Manage ventilators, invasive lines, and life-support equipment
• Identify and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support patients and families during critical and emotionally complex situations
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)

What You’ll Do
