Job summary

Delta Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient-focused team in the critical care setting. The role focuses on direct and indirect patient care, with close collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate holds Mississippi RN licensure, current BLS, and ACLS within six months, with two or more years of recent critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Current Mississippi Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Two or more years of recent critical care experience, preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ICU/CCU.
• Monitor hemodynamics and interpret diagnostic results.
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians and care team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement care plans.
