Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking an ICU Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide advanced nursing care, consultation, and education across an ICU specialty area. This full-time, day-shift role supports night coverage as needed.

You will lead program development, contribute to clinical practice standards, manage research projects and develop teaching plans to enhance patient outcomes. This position is benefit-eligible and may require occasional off-shift hours to support night staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNS credential and Michigan RN license.
• Board certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire/date of transfer.

• Serves as an expert consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.

Full-time Benefit Eligible

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), typically four 10-hour day shifts with some flexibility. Occasional off-shift hours may be required to support night staff.

Required Credential(s)

• Clinical Nurse Specialist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing. Board certification required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required and Master's degree required.
