Job summary

Damar Services, Inc. in Richmond, IN is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Intervention Associate to provide direct behavior management services, observe clients, and train staff.

You will develop and document behavior plans, coordinate service delivery, and engage with families and educators to support individuals with I/DD or autism. The role emphasizes developing individualized plans, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with program standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in ABA or related human services field is required.
  • Minimum age 21 and a valid Indiana driver’s license.
  • No felony convictions and successful background screening.
  • Pre-employment physical required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive behavioral assessment for each client.
  • Maintains prescribed productivity levels.
  • Trains staff on behavior management plans and approaches.
  • Implements and monitors behavior programs and documents results.
  • Interacts professionally with parents, teachers, staff, and providers.
  • Keeps current on treatment techniques, literature, and regulations.
  • Documents services via monthly reports.
  • Submits plans and notes timely.

Damar is looking for a talented and motivated Intensive Behavioral Intervention Associate to be responsible for providing direct behavior management consultation services to clients, staff members, and family members. These services include client observation, the development and documentation of specific behavior management plans, direct intervention with clients, education and training for staff, and service coordination, among others.

  • Provides comprehensive functional assessment of behavior for each client served
  • Maintains prescribed level of productivity
  • Provides training for staff regarding behavior management plans/approaches
  • Implements, coordinates, monitors, documents, evaluate, and revise behavior programs as approved by the Manager or Director
  • Interacts professionally with parents, teachers, staff, and other providers
  • Keeps abreast of current treatment technology, literature, practices, and regulations
  • Provides written documentation of behavior management service via monthly reports
  • Submits documentation (behavior plans, monthly notes, etc.) in a timely fashion
What You Need To Be Considered
  • Master’s degree in applied behavioral analysis; social work; psychology; counseling; or a related human services area of study
  • Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
  • Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
  • Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
