You will have the opportunity to work throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from storyboarding and software requirement gathering to independent verification and validation (IV&V) of software releases. As a key member of the team, you will focus on testing next-generation technologies, including innovative express lanes pricing software, industry leading advanced traffic management systems (ATMS), and real-time traffic management dashboards. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about software quality, public infrastructure, and the direct impact of technology on society. Your contributions will play a critical role in advancing state-of-the-art systems that enhance public safety, optimize operational efficiency, and improve decision-making processes for transportation authorities across the state.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• Familiarity with SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data modeling concepts.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

What We Prefer

• Master’s degree in computer science.
• Experience in Transportation, Tolling, or Traffic Management Software.
• Experience with FDOT SunGuide, TxDOT LoneStar, New England Compass, TDOT Smartway, Georgia DOT Navigator, SWRI ActiveITS, or any other ATMS.
