Job summary

Cooley LLP's Cooley AI seeks an Intelligence Transformation Manager to lead a team of analysts embedded in the firm's Intelligence function, studying how work is done and identifying automation opportunities, delivering well‑defined requirements to the Data Products team.

You will own a rolling transformation roadmap, partner with Data Engineering, Platform Governance, and Data Products, and help upskill the team through a structured data skills program while maintaining governance and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable experience in intelligence, knowledge management, or related roles with data fluency.
• Hands-on SQL proficiency to query and validate data and coach analysts.
• Experience partnering with technical or engineering teams and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Experience building business cases for automation and transformation opportunities.
• Experience designing or delivering training and upskilling programs.

Responsibilities

• Technical Delivery Partnership: liaison to delivery teams ensuring intelligence requirements are represented.
• Translate business and operational requirements into structured specifications for the Data Products team.
• Translate technical constraints into terms stakeholders understand; participate in delivery ceremonies.
• Build relationships with Data Engineering, Platform Governance, and Data Products to enable collaboration.
• Lead transformation backlog reviews and provisioning of well-specified requirements for production builds.
