Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a skilled intelligence analyst in the Office of Counterintelligence, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, to produce HUMINT threat assessments and analytical reports for U.S. diplomatic missions. The analyst collects, reviews, and analyzes intelligence data to identify foreign threats and to develop and monitor intelligence information for circulation within the U.S.

government and IC. Responsibilities include producing threat reports, briefing papers, and one-page environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree at a minimum; graduate degrees certainly beneficial.
• 2+ years of utilizing the theories and principles of intelligence collection and counterintelligence to analyze foreign intelligence threats.
• 2+ years of experience assessing the relevancy and implications of intelligence developments in a geographic area.
• 2+ years of experience preparing intelligence reports and delivering briefings.

Responsibilities

• Produces HUMINT threat assessments of selected posts for HTTWG.
• Compiles data, communicates with posts, resolves discrepancies, and submits assessments on time.
• Prepares analytical products and briefing papers for dissemination to the Department and IC.
• Maintains one-page CI environment summaries for all Missions in the region.
