This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis. As a Intelligence Research Specialist, you will function as a counterintelligence (CI) analyst, conducting research and analysis regarding CI threats to the Treasury Department. CI threat analysis is focused on analyzing the capabilities and intentions of foreign intelligence entities (FIE) to target Treasury, including the supply chain. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in ALL of the following:
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as ALL of the following:
You may qualify by a combination of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resumé.
