Job summary

VTG Defense seeks an Intelligence Operations Advisor (OA) to support challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area. You will assist with taskings, coordination, planning, and briefing support, while preparing assessments and recommendations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree with extensive experience, strong written/verbal communication, sponsor research tools expertise, and a active high-level US government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7–12 years of applicable experience (Level 3)
• 12–20 years of applicable experience (Level 4)
• 20+ years of applicable experience (Level 5)
• Cable writing experience
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in Sponsor research tools and techniques
• Ability to analyze data and research results; ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent organizational skills to address complex issues
• Must possess a high level US Government issued clearance at the time of application
• Candidates with a Master's degree are highly desirable.
• Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
• Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
• Formal CI training and/or certifications
• Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
• Foreign languages skills

Pay Range:

VTG's estimated starting pay range is $140,000 - $195,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
