Job summary

Prevailance,-In seeks an Intelligence Instructor to design, deliver, and improve formal technical training across multiple mission areas, including intelligence fundamentals, blue capabilities, red capabilities, targeting, and all-source analysis.

You will act as SME, develop lesson plans and training standards, integrate changes to doctrine, and participate in curriculum reviews and training effectiveness evaluations. TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

  • Five+ years in an Intelligence mission area.
  • Experience producing finished intelligence products to IC standards.
  • Familiarity with intelligence tools and networks (JWICS, SIPRNet, Palantir, Analyst Notebook).
  • Experience with Joint Targeting Cycle and targeting product development.
  • Three+ years as an instructor in formal settings; or five+ years as a briefer/public speaker; validation through a brief demo.
  • Ability to design and deliver instruction to adult learners using multiple modalities.
  • Skill in using LMS, distributed training systems, simulators, and CBT tools.
  • Ability to translate complex content into sequenced instruction aligned to objectives.
  • Ability to maintain curriculum documentation to instructional design standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and update Training Plans, Lesson Plans, and Training Standards.
  • Integrate changes to doctrine and TTPs into course materials regularly.
  • Participate in training advisory boards, curriculum reviews, and evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain training aids, multimedia content, and e-learning modules.
  • Serve as evaluator for student and instructor standardization and evaluation.
  • Maintain qualification and currency in assigned courses; pursue continuing education.

Job description

Duties

The Intelligence Instructor serves as a subject matter expert and primary educator, responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of formal technical training in one or more of the following mission areas:

  • Intelligence Fundamentals (i.e. foundational intelligence theory, the Intelligence Community (IC) structure, and the Intelligence Cycle; intelligence disciplines including HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, MASINT, OSINT, and TECHINT)
  • Blue Capabilities (i.e. friendly force capabilities, limitations, and order of battle to support intelligence-operations integration)
  • Red / Threat Capabilities (i.e. foreign military capabilities, adversary doctrine, order of battle (OB), and threat assessment methodologies)
  • Targeting
  • All-Source Analysis analytical methodologies including structured analytic techniques (SATs), key assumptions checks, analysis of competing hypotheses (ACH), and indicators and warnings (I&W)
Course Instructor
  • Act as SME and deliver course of instruction for assigned subject area(s); Participate in capstone/graduation exercise
  • Develop, review, and update Training Plans (TPs), Lesson Plans (LPs), and Training Standards (TSs).
  • Integrate changes to doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) into course materials on a recurring basis
  • Participate in training advisory boards, curriculum reviews, and training effectiveness evaluations
  • Develop and maintain training aids, multimedia content, and e-learning modules
  • Serve as an evaluator for student and instructor standardization and evaluation.
  • Maintain qualification and currency in assigned courses; complete required continuing education and professional development
Administration & Coordination
  • Track and report student progression, graduation rates, and course metrics to unit leadership
  • Maintain required documentation, records management, and applicable USSF directives
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years in a specific Intelligence mission area
  • Experience producing finished intelligence products (assessments, point papers, briefings) utilizing IC production standards.
  • Familiarity with intelligence tools, databases, and networks (e.g., JWICS, SIPRNet, M3, Palantir, Analyst Notebook).
  • Experience with the Joint Targeting Cycle and targeting product development.
  • Minimum of three (3) years as an instructor in a formal military school, university, or professional development setting; or five (5) years as a briefer/public speaker. A brief demonstration of public speaking will be required within 30 days of contract start to validate abilities.
  • Skill in designing and delivering formal instruction to adult learners using multiple modalities (lecture, scenario, simulation, lab).
  • Skill in using learning management systems, distributed training systems, simulator platforms, and computer-based training (CBT) tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical content and translate it into clear, sequenced instruction aligned to performance objectives.
  • Skill in writing, editing, and maintaining curriculum documentation to Air Force/Space Force instructional systems design standards.
  • Ability to evaluate student performance objectively, provide constructive feedback, and identify remediation requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Five (5) or more years of operational space experience with increasing responsibility
  • Knowledge of space operations doctrine, strategy, and national security space policy applicable to USSF/USAF missions
  • Operational experience in a deployed or joint environment integrating space capabilities with ground and air forces
  • Experience with GEOINT exploitation tools (e.g., SOCET GXP, RemoteView, NGA-approved platforms)
  • Operational experience supporting deployed, contingency, or combatant command (CCMD) intelligence requirements
  • Experience in ISR mission planning, collection management, or PED (Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination) operations
  • Familiarity with Red Team methodologies, adversary emulation, and OPFOR doctrine
Education Requirements
  • Bachelors degreein STEM, Space, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Global Security, or National Security Studies

Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance eligibility is required
