Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an Intelligence Collection Manager – Subject Matter Expert to oversee intelligence collection management across routine, SAP, and compartmented projects. The role requires extensive DoD/IC experience and active TS/SCI clearance, with a focus on coordinating with defense and national agencies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage intelligence collection and production for routine, SAP, and compartmented projects and exercises.
  • Develop collection plans, set priorities, and support day-to-day collection activities.
  • Coordinate with National Intelligence Agencies and Combatant Command centers.
  • Advise on all collection management aspects during contingencies and routine activities.

CGS is seeking a skilledIntelligence Collection Manager – Subject Matter Expert to perform intelligence collection management duties for routine, Special Access Program (SAP), and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises for all intelligence disciplines.

Skills and attributes for success:

  • Focus on all issues pertaining to collection and production management, including doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight, tactical, theater, and national-level coordination and other issues
  • Perform intelligence collection management duties for routine, SAP, and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises for all intelligence disciplines
  • Demonstrate superior proficiency in utilizing current intelligence related automation, requirements-based applications, tools, and databases to support collection, analytical efforts and product development
  • Assist in the development of collection plans, establish priorities for collection and routinely assist with the day-to-day activities of the command collection management activities
  • Develop, plan, support and provide guidance, assistance and have oversight on all intelligence collection and production management functions, projects, and activities
  • Coordinate with appropriate National Intelligence Agencies, Combatant Command Joint Intelligence Centers, and Service Production Centers advocating for inclusion of customer requirements in those activities' standing collection and production requirements, while actively assisting in analyst/collector/collection management partnership forums to support analysts on collection issues
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and advise on all aspects of collection management during routine, contingency, special access program, compartmented projects, operations, and exercises
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of total intelligence/intelligence operations experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with five (5) years at the operational level
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in collection management with a strong background and firsthand experience in collection management and/or intelligence reporting, including doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight, tactical, theater, and national-level coordination
  • Excellent briefing and executive level writing skills
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI
