Background

Navanti seeks an Intelligence Analyst to support a program providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in HUMINT (Human Intelligence) collection and analysis. The role involves HUMINT collection management, operational tradecraft, and intelligence reporting to support national security objectives.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles.
  • Understanding of Standard HUMINT Intelligence Report (SHIR).
  • Expertise in HUMINT collection management, operational tradecraft, and collection methods.
  • Proficiency with HUMINT collection management tools such as HOT-R, CRATE, CHROME, and others.
  • Ability to coordinate between platforms and clients, managing collection priorities and feedback.
  • Experience in publishing Notices of Intelligence Potential (NIPs) and Requests for Requirements (RFR).
  • Skills in consolidating, tracking, and prioritizing collection requirements and SDRs.
  • Capability to guide collectors on intelligence gaps and ensure quality control of IIRs.
  • Experience transmitting requests and preparing collection management metrics.
  • Ability to leverage USIC contacts and understand HUMINT policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in SharePoint, HOT-R, CRATE, CHROME, Palantir, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starting initiative with minimal support.
Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field and 8+ years of direct HUMINT collection or analysis experience within intelligence, counterterrorism, or defense sectors.
Preferred Experience
  • Extensive collection management experience, including intelligence reporting and program management.
  • Strong research and analytical skills across databases and multimedia formats.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, HOT-R, CRATE, CHROME, Palantir, FAMS, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Training or certification in intelligence analysis and research methodologies.
