Job summary

The internship involves working on teams with full-time analysts and briefing on international political, military, economic, and leadership developments. Liberal arts, STEM, and technical majors are all relevant, with strict eligibility including U.S.

Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree as part of the internship program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrollment status: full-time before and after the internship.
• Two 90-day tours preferred; at least one 90-day tour required.
• Able to meet CIA requirements for joining, including U.S. citizenship and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze information from classified and unclassified sources.
• Provide timely and objective assessments to customers such as the President and National Security Council.
• Work on teams alongside full-time analysts studying and evaluating information from all sources.
• Brief and write analyses on international political, military, economic, and leadership developments.
• Participate in meetings and projects to become familiar with the Agency and Intelligence Community.
