Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required
• Graduate work preferred
• Two to five years of experience in publishing or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Drafts and issues original book publication and series contracts and amendments.
• Assist IP Director with translation rights and backlist renewals.
• Maintain contracts and permissions templates and boilerplate language.
• Manage data in Press databases and digital archives of legal documents.
• Supervise Permissions & Copyright Coordinator and student assistants.
• Coordinate audiobook licensing and negotiate terms with audio publishers.
