Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking a Part Time Direct Support Professional in Connecticut to provide individualized, person-directed support for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, and health advocacy in a healthy home environment and help individuals participate fully in community life.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with adults with disabilities.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
• Valid driver’s license and daily access to a private vehicle.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support in daily living and health-wellness areas.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks in a home setting.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will support adults by creating a healthy and engaging home setting, teaching and assisting with daily living skills, assisting with personal care, and advocating for the health and wellness of the people we support.

Job details

• Part Time and Full Time hours available
• $20.75 per hour
• Casual/Per Diem hours available
• $20.50 per hour

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Effective communication and basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verification
