Keystone Human Services is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Professional in Mechanicsburg, PA to support adults with IDD. You will promote person-centered care, develop behavioral support plans, and enhance independence and well-being of those served.

The role entails implementing plans, training staff, and collaborating with clinical teams to ensure ethical practices. Requires a BCBA eligibility or related master's degree and experience in behavioral treatment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Gerontology or BCBA is required.
• One year of postgraduate experience in behavioral treatment for individuals with IDD is expected.
• Ability to respond effectively in high-stress or critical situations and to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized behavioral support plans.
• Promote person-centered planning and positive approaches to skill development.
• Design teaching strategies to foster independence and autonomy.
• Utilize data collection systems to measure outcomes and improve program effectiveness.
• Train staff in treatment plan implementation and monitor clinical data for effectiveness.
• Provide education and training on relevant clinical topics to staff.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure ethical, evidence-based practices.
• Participate in inter-agency coordination and build relationships with allied providers.
• Maintain professional relationships with individuals served, families, and team members.
• Stay informed on regulations, behavior change techniques, and treatment of challenging behaviors or dual diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Gerontology or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• One year of postgraduate experience in behavioral treatment for individuals with IDD
• Ability to respond effectively in high-stress or critical situations
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interpret and apply written information
• Intermediate computer skills, ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and learn web-based systems
• Valid driver’s license and access to properly insured vehicle
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications
